Specific service details, pricing, frequency, warranties, retreatment policies, exclusions, and cancellation terms may be provided in a separate service agreement, estimate, invoice, customer portal, or customer communication. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed or accepted service agreement, the service agreement will control.

5. Quotes, Estimates, and Inspections

Any quote, estimate, promotion, or pricing shown on our website or provided by our team is subject to confirmation. Final pricing may depend on property size, pest conditions, service type, accessibility, service frequency, infestation level, safety considerations, and other relevant factors.

Fortis may provide free estimates for certain services. Specialty services, commercial properties, rodent issues, termite concerns, bed bug concerns, inspections, exclusion work, sanitation issues, attic or crawlspace work, or other complex conditions may require a paid inspection or separate estimate. We will communicate any inspection fee or specialty estimate before performing that work.

We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing, service descriptions, website content, or promotional offers.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To allow us to perform services safely and effectively, customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact, billing, and service location information.
  • Provide safe and reasonable access to areas requiring service.
  • Follow preparation instructions, re-entry instructions, safety instructions, and post-service recommendations.
  • Keep people, pets, animals, and sensitive items away from treatment areas as instructed.
  • Notify us of known hazards, locked gates, access restrictions, aggressive animals, water features, sensitive plants, medical concerns, bee activity, prior pesticide applications, or other relevant property conditions.
  • Comply with payment obligations under the applicable service agreement, estimate, or invoice.

We may decline, delay, or reschedule service if we determine that conditions are unsafe, access is unavailable, required preparation has not been completed, or service cannot be performed in compliance with applicable laws, product labels, or safety standards.

7. Treatment Results

Pest control results can vary based on pest species, infestation level, sanitation, weather, property conditions, neighboring properties, structural issues, access, customer cooperation, and other factors outside our control.

Unless expressly stated in a written service agreement, Fortis does not guarantee complete elimination of all pests after a single service. Some pests may require ongoing service, follow-up treatments, repairs, exclusion work, sanitation changes, moisture control, landscaping changes, or other corrective actions.

8. Available Treatment Options

Treatment options may vary based on service area, pest species, property conditions, product availability, applicable laws, pesticide labels, safety considerations, seasonality, and technician assessment. Not every treatment type shown or discussed on our website will be available or appropriate for every property or pest issue.

9. Warranties and Retreatments

Any warranty, retreatment promise, or satisfaction guarantee applies only as stated in the applicable service agreement, invoice, written estimate, or promotional offer.

Warranty coverage may be limited or void if recommended corrections are not completed, access is denied, service is canceled, payments are past due, the pest issue is outside the covered scope, preparation instructions are not followed, or conditions exist that continue to support pest activity.

10. Payments

Payment terms will be provided in the applicable estimate, invoice, service agreement, customer portal, or customer communication. You agree to pay all amounts owed for services provided.

Late, failed, reversed, or unpaid balances may result in service suspension, cancellation, collection activity, late fees, or other remedies allowed by law and any applicable service agreement.

11. Refunds, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms may vary depending on the type of service, route scheduling, service agreement, promotion, or work already performed.

If you prepaid for a service and cancel before work has begun, we may issue a refund subject to any applicable service agreement, processing fees, scheduling costs, inspection fees, or other non-refundable charges disclosed to you. Refunds, when approved, may be returned to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. We reserve the right to charge fees or decline future service for repeated short-notice cancellations, inaccessible properties, unsafe conditions, or missed appointments, where allowed by law and applicable agreements.

By submitting information through our website, requesting a quote, scheduling service, using any customer portal, sending us a message, or otherwise contacting Fortis electronically, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. These communications may include emails, phone calls, SMS/text messages, social media messages, website notices, customer portal notices, or other electronic communications related to your inquiry, services, account, billing, or our business relationship.

You agree that electronic notices, disclosures, agreements, and communications may satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing, to the extent allowed by law.

13. SMS/Text Message Terms

If you provide your phone number or opt in to text messages, you agree that Fortis may send SMS/text messages related to your inquiry, quote, appointment, service, account, billing, promotions, or other business communications.

  • Message frequency may vary based on your service activity and communications with us.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP to a message from us.
  • You may request help by replying HELP or contacting us directly.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • You represent that the phone number you provide is your number and that you are authorized to receive calls and messages at that number.
  • You agree to promptly notify us if you stop using a phone number you previously provided.

We do not sell or share SMS opt-in consent for third-party marketing. SMS opt-in data may be shared only with service providers that help us deliver text messaging services, such as messaging platforms, carriers, aggregators, and related technology providers.

14. Phone Call Recording

If Fortis records or monitors phone calls, inbound and outbound calls with Fortis and its personnel or service providers may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance, training, customer service, documentation, safety, and business purposes. Pest control work may require licensing, training, personal protective equipment, pesticide label compliance, and property-specific judgment. Any do-it-yourself treatment or third-party treatment performed without Fortis is undertaken at the user’s own risk, and Fortis is not responsible for the results or consequences of such treatment.

20. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fortis, its owners, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, failure to follow service instructions, inaccurate information provided to us, unsafe property conditions not disclosed to us, or violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
